This hotel is a great find! the location is fantastic - it is very close to the main shopping areas of Shijo Kawaramachi, making it super convenient for exploring the city. Secondly, the staff here are friendly and helpful, and they even speak English, which was a big plus for me. Lastly, the rooms were clean and spacious, and they had excellent facilities. this hotel offers great value for money.

The hotel is situated in an excellent location, with easy access to the JR station and close to the main shopping areas. It offers stunning views of the river and canal, which can be seen from many of the windows. the rooms are very comfortable and clean, providing all the amenities which one would expect from a standard hotel. the breakfast provided is both tasty and nutritious, with plenty of fresh produce available.

While the hotel provides good value for money, guests should be aware that parking is quite expensive in the surrounding areas.

The value for money is excellent considering the fantastic location. Just steps away from the main shopping areas of Shijo Kawaramachi and right beside the canal, I was able to easily explore the city. The staff were friendly and provided basic amenities, including rooms with excellent facilities. The Japanese style breakfast was decent too!

The hotel has a great location, with easy access to the train station and a popular Sunday morning market nearby. the lobby decor is modern and welcoming, and there are nice amenities available to use, such as facial cream and other freebies. Another benefit is the convenience of having a 7/11 just across the road, which is always handy for quick snacks or drinks.

This hotel is perfectly located in front of the river and just a few minutes walk from the Sunday morning market. The rooms are very clean and come with excellent facilities. Plus, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast is tasty and adequate.

The hot cover on the bed was very thick, so it was a bit hot to sleep.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of my room at Hotel Takasago. The room was clean and comfortable, and I immediately decided to extend my stay for another night. The traditional Japanese breakfast served at the hotel was decent, and the location was convenient, with several eateries nearby. The hotel also had a public bath with nice amenities, perfect for relaxation after a long day of exploring. I had a great experience at Hotel Takasago and would recommend it.
